Marijuana: Fooled by the Sales Lines
The facts are that marijuana is a poison. It can stay in the body and accumulate, so basically you can end up with a body saturated with poison.
I go a bit crazy when I hear statements like, “Drugs have always been a part of our culture.” or “Kids are going to take drugs no matter what we do.”
A friend of mine once told me the way to tell a successful lie is to ensure that it contains a little bit of truth. That statement sort of went over my head at the time, but looking back on 30 years, I’d say my friend was spot-on.
Here’s my top 10 list of marijuana sales lines:
- It’s all natural.
- It expands your mind.
- It makes you more creative.
- It keeps you calm.
- It helps you concentrate.
- It’s not addictive.
- It’s not as bad as alcohol.
- It is an herb.
- You don’t get a hangover.
- It’s a medicine.
There’s some truth to each one of the above. However, the drug eventually steals creativity, steals concentration and eventually makes you more stressed out.
I don’t want to get into some long debate on this. It’s simple. Marijuana is essentially a poison and it can stay in your body for years and years and years. Somehow, I don’t think that’s too good.
